The Princeton CarbonWorks Wake 6560 Evo - Tactic Hubs began its journey in 2012, with the first models ready by 2015. Over the years, this flagship wheel has seen four updates, each enhancing its aerodynamics, weight, stiffness, and overall quality.

Known for its unique blend of features, the Wake 6560 is a top choice for those seeking high performance. It offers the speed of deeper wheels and the lightness and handling of shallower ones, all while being stiff and responsive. Now, in its fifth version, the Wake 6560 Evo continues to evolve.

The Wake 6560 Evo introduces a new shape, following the Alta 3532 in Princeton's Evolution series. Through extensive testing, this wheelset surpasses the previous Wake 6560 Strada in efficiency. This version marks the most significant performance leap in the Wake series.

The Wake 6560 Evo's design is distinct from earlier models. It features alternating deep and shallow rim sections with alternating spoke sides. This design allows high tension spokes to connect to deeper rim sections, balancing spoke tensions for a stiffer wheel. This technology, Radially Staggered Lacing, is unique to Princeton CarbonWorks.

The Wake 6560 Evo is slightly wider and lighter than before. With a 21mm internal and 28.2mm max external width, it's perfect for 25-28mm tyres used by professional cyclists. This results in better aerodynamics and stability in crosswinds. Each rim is 10g lighter, thanks to a shorter inner edge. The rim brake and hooks remain, allowing flexibility in tyre choice. The Wake 6560 Evo supports clincher/tubed and tubeless tyres without tape or pressure limits.
