The Heart of a Rose Hardcover – Large Print, November 20, 2024

I titled this book, “The Heart of a Rose “because it reminded me of an existential puzzle that we all face, namely that of the knot of the Self-in-the-World. We all must come to a deeper understanding of our present fluid experience of ourselves in the world. Many sages and mystics throughout human history have tried to untie this fundamental Self-World knot, also known as Jiva-Jagat Granthi, Chit-Jada Granthi, or Body-Mind problem.My spiritual experiences have been a series of insights or understandings. These experiences just dawn on me, especially in the mornings. It is like solving a jig-saw puzzle. When you find the last piece, and put it in, the whole experience lights up magically! Then, it all makes sense. Such insightful experiences cannot be put accurately in words. But, sometimes, I describe them as my notes in the cell phone, a journal entry in my diary, or a creative ink and pen drawing! This book has many such expressions. Hope you will enjoy and appreciate them.This book is a collection of my inspired thoughts, poems, essays, journal entries, ink and pen drawings, paintings, and photographs. All these are symbolic expressions of my personal experiences from the last 5 years (2019-2024).
