The foam core blade on the Aqua-Bound Tetra Carbon is what sets this lightweight touring kayak paddle apart, adding buoyancy that makes every stroke feel more effortless than a conventional solid blade.

That full foam core keeps the blade naturally buoyant through the catch and exit, reducing fatigue on long paddles across open water. The spread tow carbon and Aramid construction delivers excellent stiffness and durability, while Lam-Lok edge protection guards the blade perimeter against the chips and abrasion that accumulate over a season of regular paddling on Canadian lakes and rivers.

At just over 21 oz., the 100% carbon straight shaft is impressively light, and indexed hand placement gives you a consistent, controlled grip without having to look down and reposition. The Posi-Lok ferrule with carbon insert breaks down into two pieces cleanly and adjusts feather angle in 15-degree increments left and right.
